--- Comment #18 from [email protected] <[email protected]> --- Four facts: 1.- You will no move a finger for the Extremaduran to appear in the main list 2.- You will not issue locales for Extremaduran 3.- After 50 downloaders, and, with myself, 51 no one of us has been clear enough to find the tricky way. May be we, the extremadurans, are a little bit short minded. 4.- In a second upload I wrote this in the download page: It doesn’t work because there are problems to get the Extremaduran appear in the list of available languages. Install it and send me an email to the address that appears after installation. Result: 47 downloads and 0 emails. Taking in to account the four facts, it is clear that keep, stubbornly, the “ext-ES” in the locales is not an intelligent solution. I know that the fingerprint of the language is in the file. In fact I’ve used it, as a back door, to change manually the language to Extremaduran. This is not a good approach. Of course, I’m aware about the use of other language localisation. It can collide with the actual language, if you have it installed. I know that a lot of extremadurans use the Portuguese in their daily life (we have border with Portugal), but no one will use the Ladin (used by 30.000 people in the north of Italy), for sure. The Portuguese can cause conflicts but not the Ladin. Anyway, this is a Byzantine discussion. So, I’ll shut down the bug but without any proper solution. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
