I used to be very positive about having native integration as the first and
best option in LibreOffice, but we now have issues like this that do not get
resolved after numerous years. It seems to me that the Windows version just
does not have the resources available to make a comparable experience to Linux.

I do not mind (and even think it could be beneficial) if all versions of
LibreOffice in future versions used the same VCL to look consistent on all
supported OS platforms, be that using QT or GTK4 or something else. Sahil
indicated a while back that using GTK could be an option for Windows in the
future. This could be very positive to create a more modern and complete look.

On the design channel I highlighted a Reddit post on theming:

https://www.reddit.com/r/libreoffice/comments/1oxnlu1/make_libreoffice_look_great_with_these_custom/

I really like the design choices that this user has made in the light and dark
theme presented(except the page colour that should be white).

I understand that people want native theming, but could we as a community move
away from this and just produce one exceptional light and dark theme and just
make this the default everywhere? Wouldn't this cut down on the maintenance
work and make documentation consistent across all OS versions?
