--- Comment #11 from Sahil Gautam <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Eyal Rozenberg from comment #10) > So, Sahil was asked for his opinion/position, but even though he's the > reporter, I don't think this bug should be closed because he hasn't > answered. So, marking as UNCONFIRMED again for now. > > But Sahil, please Heiko's comment #5... sry, was a bit busy. 1. ux wise this makes sense to me, a dialog isn't enough to walk the user through the interface and what's where. 2. implementation is a different issue, how hard would it be to implement, how flexible would it be... i don't know. 3. we should not close it though. let's say it's implemented, then we can have a list of walkthroughs and then when the user says "how do i do that", we can simply point them to a walkthrough and they start it, it walks them through the process of using certain functionality in libreoffice and they got a more interactive form of help. what i said above is just an extension of the concept i request for in this ticket. it's not important whether we show it on first start or later on-demand, that can be decided in a design meeting and i don't mind it being disabled by default. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
