--- Comment #22 from Mike Kaganski <[email protected]> --- Quite possibly, the relevant code is the Bulgarian locale data https://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/i18npool/source/localedata/data/bg_BG.xml?r=63f9b4509db2f13d7318b53c78bef53f16fd6d8f#44 which defines QuotationStart / QuotationEnd to be "«" / "»" resp., as opposed to DoubleQuotationStart / DoubleQuotationEnd "„" / "“". And the decision which locale is to follow when typing goes from the current text's locale. Which is confirmed in (In reply to Jim Avera from comment #8) > Ah, why does it say "Bulgarian" at the bottom even though the Paragraph > style says it is set to "English"? It is an interesting question. So far, I haven't noticed the data from Help->About; and as usual, omitting that information hides crucial data. Is Qt5 integration used by chance? That would explain, because Qt5 is the only Linux integration, that has implemented taking keyboard layout / system input language into account - see bug 108151 comment 13. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
