            Bug ID: 170127
Summary: German umlauts are missing in LibreOffice 25.8
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.8.4.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
After Upgrade from LibreOffice 25.2 to LO 25.8 German umlauts (ÄÖÜäöü) are not
displayed in some fonts anymore. The fonts are at least Comic Sans MS and
Impact. There is empty space instead of the letters. The letter ß is still
displayed. The problem occured in Calc, Impress, and Writer. There is no
problem in other Windows applications (I changed the font in Notepad for
testing and did a font test in the Windows Settings App).
The Problem appears in old PPTX-Files and appeared if I create a new document
with LO, too.
There is no problem in LibreOffice with Arial, Calibri, Liberation Serif, and
Times New Roman.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a new document
2.Type any text with German umlauts
3.Change the font of the written text to Comic Sans MS or Impact

Actual Results:
Empty space instead of the written umlauts

Expected Results:
The Umlauts should been displayed

Reproducible: Always
