Of course I meant hiding any tab or set of tabs. Sorry if this was not clear.

Yes, that's a use case. A Benjamin-user, or even an Eve-user may also hide the
Tools tab of Calc or of Draw, for example. But the idea is to remove the
constraint we currently have on adding new tabs: Our tabs must currently be
considered to have enough general appeal to appear _always_. Or alternatively,
we force tabs to appear because those users who do need them can never have
access to them if we don't force them on all users. Allowing for tabs which are
off by default or can be turned off takes us out of this 'bed of nails'.
