--- Comment #9 from bunkem <[email protected]> --- Any news on this? Version: 26.2.0.3 (X86_64) Build ID: 620(Build:3) CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 22631); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-CA (en_CA); UI: en-GB Calc: CL threaded I suspect it has something to do with documents that originally may have been in docx or saved from docx to odt. Further speculation is that there is text that is copied from the docx that causes the crash when pasted into another odt or docx document. This morning I can't get to working as it is crashing on 2 page document that I'm trying to edit. I can't get the edit completed. Steps: 1) Open original odt that at one point a year or two ago was a docx. 2) Save as new odt with new name. (This document is on Box but don't think this makes a difference.) 3) Open docx attachment from within Thunderbird 4) Copy some text out of the docx attachment. 5) Click on the renamed odt document to attempt to paste. Once I click LO crashes. I am not able to paste the text into the renamed odt. This is my typical workflow with editing documents. There has been no similar issue until 25.8.2. It has appeared to happen randomly for months and extremely frustrating. With these steps it is repeatable. One more thought. I've had MS PowerToys 0.9x installed for years in order to have a paste history and the power rename of files app. I would guess that around the time this crash started happening, the PowerToys made a change to keyboard command to paste from the clipboard (without formatting). So I disabled the clipboard history from PowerToys. I'm going to uninstall PowerToys and see if this has any affect. I'm happy to share the documents but can't be posted here. Let me know and I'll email. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
