--- Comment #7 from ady <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #6) > (In reply to ady from comment #5) > > Changing an already-known keyboard shortcut has to have a very good > > reason; this is not the case. > To align with Excel sounds like a very good reason to me. There are a lot of things in Calc that are different than in Excel. There are lots of tasks that are easier in Excel than in Calc, simply because Calc does not allow to use shortcuts in situations where Excel does. There are more than enough reports and forum posts about things that are easier and more intuitive in Excel than in Calc. Heiko, I presented a request. Comments in the report added an unrelated topic, i.e. modifying the keyboard shortcut by user's customization. That is not part of the request. The goal of the request is to ease the learning curve about array functions. Modifying the already-known default shortcut for the requested menu entry does not go in favor of this goal. The default shortcut for this action should _not_ be modified. Please add the entry as originally requested in comment 0. If the hint about the keypad keys can be improved, that's a relevant additional improvement. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
