Has anyone tried it recently ?
I spent a few hours on this and while it was awkward and unpleasant with older
versions, it's now unusable in practice : it keeps crashing LO completely and
badly (if two documents are opened, the one not related with the MailMerge dies
too).
Steps to Reproduce:
It'a long and painful process to create the database of the document with the
proper variables inserted ! And the crashes happen at many steps.
* Create a and a simple csv with two columns Name,Item and two lines
* Take a write one page document. Insert <Name> and <Item> variables
* Try to us the Mailmerge wizzard to generate two odt files, one for each csv
data line.
It looks very simple to do, it should be, it's definitely not !
Actual Results:
Crashes and impossible to achieve the expected result.
Expected Results:
It should create mailmerged odt files with variables replaced by the db fields.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
