I also have crashes at other points. But in Safe mode, I was able to perform a mailmerge and generate the expected odt files without experiencing any crash. I could try to record the session that crashes ? I created a simple but realistic example based on what I have to generate (pdf Certificates) : - Certif_Template.odt - template.csv both attached. My ambition was to upgrade the "Howto" that I built for older versions.
