No, that is not what should happen, but it could happen. As you saw by
yourself, each situation resulted in different types of errors. The error type
/ number is a hint, where exactly you should be looking, in order to solve the
problem. The minimal text explanation of the error number is also located on
the status bar (when you focus on the cell with the error).

Err539: Unsupported inline array content
Err504: Error in parameter list
Err511: Variable missing

There might be a bug in some function that you used, or there might be some
typo somewhere. I do not know.

I would suggest using the Ask site in order to get help from other users. Maybe
another user can provide a solution for you, and/or maybe someone will find out
that there is indeed a bug with one of the functions you used.

For the Ask site, I would also suggest to provide a minimal sample file
(without private information) and to be clear on what you want to achieve on
which cells, instead of writing snippets or parts of formulas. That way, other
users might be able to help you and, if there is indeed a bug, they can
replicate it.

If you open a topic for this issue on the Ask site, it might help if you could
post a link to it here in this report.
