--- Comment #1 from Brian <[email protected]> ---
So I'm not sure what happened, but when I went back to the documents in
question after having reloaded, they are now loading fine. But they were all
BLANK originally and I had to copy them from the backup file directory. It
seems that now that I have copied them (just by copying the file?), now they
all have data in them and the look just fine. So perhaps this issue is more
about Windows showing all of the "untitled" documents as blank?! But my regular
documents with filenames were FINE AND NOT BLANK. Only the untitled ones were
blank. But as I went to retest this a second time and copied the data files out
of the backup directory, they all just started to appear. So in this case, I
CANNOT say that I duplicated the issue. It's weird. Not sure what would cause
those files to be blank at first and then now they are showing up just fine.
I'm still reporting this as a bug (since I just took a while doing this, and
maybe someone else will see this and can add more context), or maybe it's a
Windows issue where it couldn't get to the file for some reason? (It's not a
remotely-mounted file; the backup directory is on my main hard drive). So I'm
not sure where the disconnect would have come from. Thanks for looking at this
in any case.
