Wow, that was it, thank you for this.
You mentioned font sizes less then 10 are not possible...
I do not think I would have a need to go smaller then 10 font but for me it
seems like it is possible though.
In "Styles", when I edit "Default" the font size drop down shows 6,7,8 & 9.
These small font sizes do appear to work for me unless I am not understanding
something?

----------------------------------------------

I will close this post but hopefully it would be okay to please leave this open
just for a little while.
I know this is not really what this site is meant for but while we are on the
subject, I did have a couple of quick questions that maybe you or other users
could answer before I close this post...

(If any of the following is not possible, this might be able to help me
generate a new request post)

-So changing the "Default Style" does achieve what I mentioned, but has to be
applied manually on a per file basis.

-If user saves this "Default Style" to their "Default Template", then this
would make all NEW files use this as well.
Is this what you meant by the following quote?...
"To apply to all files, change it in default template."

QUESTIONS
1.) Is there a way to apply this "Default Style" font size setting to multiple
already existing files at the same time? Without having to manually do this
font size change fix, per each file / one at a time?

2.) More of a general question.
I notice that for many actions in Calc, I find myself having to do a "Select
All" (CTRL+A) action and then having to apply settings to ALL cells.
Some examples
-To change all cells in a documents font size in toolbar font size drop down
-To set all cell in a document to "Optimal Height"
-To perform this "Default Style" font size solution mentioned in this thread
post.
This always seems kind of inefficient to me.
Is this expected common behavior for achieving these actions?
Or is there a better/more efficient way of achieving these "ALL cells within a
spreadsheet" based actions?

Again I am sorry for doing this, hopefully this is okay.
I will close this as soon as possible, once I have received answers.
Thank you to anyone who reads this
