--- Comment #2 from [email protected] --- (In reply to V Stuart Foote from comment #1) > implementation of what is a Sidebar UI is better served by current > behavior. My point is that the same problematic behavior is found in the Sidebar. Suppose you want to Navigate by "Images" (but then momentarily want to use Headings in the Navigator to check the text in a section, and then want to continue Navigating by Images). In the Sidebar, you will lose your choice of Images, because you selected Headings. In effect, you cannot "keep" a chosen Navigate by, it is always changed automatically (also in the Sidebar) to the last chosen category. > Would need .uno:NavigateBack and.uno:NavigateForward to be added > to customize dialog for use with the .uno:NavElement for Recency, You are right. They were also added (as part of the Find toolbar - very practical) > and also something else for the other element movements. ??? I am able to use forward and Back for all the elements when using the toolbar. But the issue here is not the toolbar use (which is only how I became aware of the issue), but the Navigator behavior of automatically changing its category to the last chosen category. My proposal is that it should not change automatically with each category use. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
