            Bug ID: 172455
Summary: Inconsistent Ctrl+Arrow Navigation After Editing Empty
Cell Without Explicitly Entering Edit Mod
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.4.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Word-navigation shortcuts behave differently depending on whether edit mode was
explicitly entered before typing into an empty cell.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select an empty cell.
2. Start typing directly without first entering edit mode (e.g. without
pressing Enter or double-clicking the cell).
3. Write a word or character in the cell
4. Press Ctrl + Left Arrow or Ctrl + Right Arrow.

Actual Results:
Ctrl + Arrow keys are interpreted as spreadsheet navigation commands, causing
the cell selection to move instead of navigating within the cell content

Expected Results:
Ctrl + Arrow keys navigate within the cell text by word, as they do when edit
mode is explicitly entered before typing.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
Not tested on other versions.
