--- Comment #48 from Jose Angel Mtz Esco <[email protected]> --- I would like to support this enhancement request. I recently migrated my primary computer from Windows to Linux Mint with the goal of replacing Microsoft Excel by LibreOffice Calc for professional work. Instead of immediately returning to Microsoft Office, I invested several weeks learning Calc, adapting my spreadsheets, rewriting formulas and comparing LibreOffice with Microsoft Excel, WPS Office, OnlyOffice Spreadsheet Editor and Google Sheets. After this migration effort I concluded that Calc's calculation engine is already capable of handling almost all of my professional work. The remaining limitation is workflow efficiency. Structured tables are one of the most important productivity features for professional spreadsheet users because they allow reusable templates for accounting, invoicing, inventory management and financial reporting. I believe improving Calc tables should be considered a high-priority usability enhancement. Some workflow improvements that would have a significant impact include: • More complete structured references. • Better automatic formula propagation. • Easier calculated columns. • Better interaction with sorting and filtering. • Better support for reusable business templates. These improvements would greatly facilitate migration from other office suites while remaining fully compatible with LibreOffice's own design philosophy. Thank you for considering this enhancement. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
