(Comma is thousands separator and period is decimal) The separator options show “Detected (,)” and also has the comma checked. Also: String delimiter “ Other options: "detect scientific notation" is checked I don’t know how to implement the Ctrl+F8 on my Mac. Attempts to use control, command, and the actual function key with those two does not do anything that I can tell. When I look at the cell contents, I can tell you that they appear to be text. Example: '$4419.90 The fact that I can sum them one by one but not as a group is not confidence inspiring. I’ve played with this before with limited success, attempting to modify the strings because the format doesn’t seem to take.
