--- Comment #22 from Dr. Matthias Weisser <[email protected]> ---
I am sorry to correct. The very latest - a bit bigger file of the biography
text of my father 26_biografie_erhard_1925-2012_old62.odt has a file size -
reported by Win7 of 1076kb. This is not huge at all. Just 1 MB as I already
said. With such a file I did testing - and again I complain here that its much
too much time used by LO opening this file and saving it when just a single
character has changed !

If this is really due to LO data format this is the greatest shit I have ever
seen !

I do not think so that such a shit does make sense for the future of this
project when opening and saving even on a very fast machine without even many
pictures or so is simply taking so much time to compress or expand or whatever
LO does in this used up time.

Take a look at this - analyze it and find a solution !

For many years now I have been reporting here and hoped that LO would perform
better some time. In vain !

Do you really think this will change in the next 20 years?

When Win 26 will come and laptops with 128 GHz and 200 TB RAM or so? I do not
feel so.

You all seeing this happen should feel ashame as it is here in reality today.
You have data, I gave a file and if wanted I can give you as a personal copy
the very last text. I would appreciate if somebody would be willing analyzing
this where the problem of so much time consumed comes from.

Using a global document then all would be better? Should I believe in this?
Should I use 10 texts then - each with only 100kB instead of this with 1 MB
then? Or should I use a global document using 100 texts with only 10kB as file
size each? Still too much then or what?

What the heck are you doing here? Dont you think a little bit of the user here
and the work flow this would mean?

May be you should ask a KI tool for advice? May be this could code this shit
better now right starting from scratch? May be you should have a try?

I have heard that in just 3 weeks or so sombody let a KI code 30000 lines of
code. So this may solve the problem? Or what would you prefer now? Taking many
guys coding another 10 years or so to make things worse than before?

No this is not the good way to success - that I feel would be really needed
here now - soon !

I hope that you now - finally - will understand what I am talking about !
