Screenshots showing the inconsistency in the Esperanto translation
If you click View->User Interface then there is a button in the ensuing dialog
which will be something like “Apply to Writer”. The component name in that
button is not translatable and is hardcoded to Writer or Impress or whatever.
Some translations have chosen to translate the component names into something
else. For example, in the Esperanto translation the Writer component is called
Verkilo. It would be nice to be able to translate the module names on this
button for consistency with the rest of the UI.
Note that this shouldn’t be a discussion about whether translating the module
names is a good idea because that ship has already sailed. The Esperanto
translation (and probably others) have already been translating the component
names for many years.
