            Bug ID: 172987
Summary: Newly inserted row below an existing row does not
                    mirror its height
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.5.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
It is not different in Word and WPS Office. All word processing programs do
copy height of rows when there is nothing written in them, but not always when
the rows contain text. I thought that it could be good to keep the height
consistent not to ruin the appearance of the table, but then there are also
cases when this is exactly what would ruin it. What if there was an option to
mirror the height or not depending on individual needs?

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open the attached file
2.Insert a row below any row
3.

Actual Results:
Height of the row is not preserved

Expected Results:
An option to preserve it

Reproducible: Always
