Description:
The current UI is similar to Office 2003.
Adopting animations and interface design like Office 2021 can improve the
experience of using LibreOffice.
A feasible solution:
1.Retain the current interface layout.
2.Add animations for every button (toggleable on or off).
3.Update the tabs to a more modern look similar to Office 2021, and make the
tabbed interface as the default choice.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Run Libreoffice
2.The software launches quickly, yet it lags occasionally.
3.
Actual Results:
The program sometimes freezes. After first installation, it fails to start
right away and requires a PC restart.
Expected Results:
Smooth from start to close.

A feasible solution:
1.Improve animations on the LibreOffice installer UI, such as utilizing
non-linear animations and switching to WinUI 3 style
2.Refine the loading mechanism — when opening files, load only the required
component (Writer, Calc or Impress) based on file type rather than the whole
suite
3.Implement multi-threaded loading to process documents and the interface on
different CPU cores.
4.Use segmented loading for very large documents (e.g. 200 MB files), which can
fix occasional lagging while editing.
