I've used LibreLogo to teach my little brother basic concepts of programming.
Once I managed how to restore the loops in Spanish by touching the program, he
started to play with LibreLogo for drawing from an example that I gave him. We
even use it to copy a join-the-dots image from a book by measuring the
cartesian coordinates of the dots and then programming the turtle to draw them
in Writer. For me, the inclusion by default of such a tool in LibreOffice was
so cool that I wished that everyone could use it, and that's the first reason
because I decided to send patches.

> That's true, it does not fix LibreLogo. But it improves LibreOffice.

I don't know how removing functionality could really improve LibreOffice.
