--- Comment #8 from [email protected] --- UX input: Toolbar buttons for aligning the text vertically like those in Calc would be useful indeed, not just for discoverability, but also for quick access. A button for the Text dialog in the Formatting toolbar would be useful as well -- currently, the dialog is quite undiscoverable.
