            Bug ID: 173284
Summary: Automatic update Libreoffice from 26.2 to 26.8 is not
                    possible
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.8.0.0 alpha0+ master
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Installation
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
After the official public of LibreOffice 26.8 release I wanted to update my
OpenOffice installation on Windows 11 Home from LibreOffice 26.2 to LibreOffice
26.8. This was not possible via the update-dialog of LibreOffice because this
update-dialog always returned that there is no update available.
I was only able to update my LibreOffice installation via the download and
installation of the LibreOffice-MSI-file.
In my humble opinion the update via the LibreOffice-update-dialog should be
possible too. And the update-dialog should present an error message if it can
not connect to a server or similar.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install 26.2.5.2 on Windows 11 Home
2. Open LibreOffice on Windows and open update dialog

Actual Results:
Update is not found

Expected Results:
The update should be found and the download and installation of the update
should be proposed

Reproducible: Didn't try
