In Calc, there are several possible Language settings depending on the font in use for the specific cell. There are Language settings for Western fonts, and others for Complex fonts. Using Liberation Sans, I can see no less than 6 different Languages variants for Kurdish. Using the Language variant that seems to be closest to the terminology being used in this report (Kurdish, Northern (Turkey) within the Western font), I introduced content to 2 cells: Ç C Then I select both cells, Data > Sort (Ascending) > Options (tab) > Locale > Kurdish, Northern (Turkey). The result is: C Ç So the Ascending sort worked according to what is presented as expected behavior in this report. Disregarding other minor inaccuracies in this report, it is not clear to me what is the Expected behavior. The Actual result is presented in comment 0 as: Ça Cy D d Êb Ey F Îa Şe Su Ûd Ul V Unfortunately, the Expected result in comment 0 is presented very differently. Moreover, the above list does not include the other characters (e.g. C, E, I, J, S, T, U). So, I used the following list as a test: Ça Cy D d Êb Ey F Îa Şe Su Ûd Ul V C E I J S T U And then I sorted it (Ascending) with the "Kurdish, Northern (Turkey)" Locale in the Options tab, resulting in: C Ça Cy D d E Êb Ey F I Îa J S Şe Su T U Ûd Ul V Could you please present the same list, in the same format, but with the Expected result? Is my resulting sorting order incorrect? Perhaps the best test would be to use the entire "Kurdish, Northern (Turkey)" alphabet unsorted first, apply the sort action, and review the Actual vs Expected result.
