I don't have access to EXCEL, I have attached a new spreadsheet to illustrate the bug: The first sheet shows the equation without the call to STYLE works in Calc. S1.D1:D3 gives correct results. Sheet S2 shows incorrect results from the example 2 in <https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/excel/functions/byrow-function> S2.D5:D7 show correct results in both Calc and EXCEL.
