Bug ID: 173619
Summary: Setting slide direction has no effect on slide
('page') style in output file
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 27.2.0.0 alpha0+ master
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Impress
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Reproduction instructions:
1. Create a new presentation, dismissing the choice of template.
2. Enter the first slide's Slide Properties... dialog (e.g. via the right click
menu)
3. Set the direction to LTR (it might be LTR already)
4. Save to a flat ODP file named ltr.fodp
5. Create a new presentation, dismissing the choice of template.
6. Enter the first slide's Slide Properties... dialog
7. Set the direction to RTL
8. Save to a flat ODP file named rtl.fodp
9. Compare the resulting files, specifically the single slide's style, i.e. the
"drawing-page" style.
Expected result:
At most one of the two presentations has nothing about direction in the drawing
page style; and at least one has the direction set to the appropriate value
(may be via a writing mode setting).
Actual result:
* Both drawing-page styles are identical, and none of them mention direction or
writing mode.
There are other changes between the files; will list them in a separate
comment.
