--- Comment #11 from Roascio Paolo <[email protected]> ---
I don't agree. despite adding a specific radio button to print current page can
be a generalized option, bug 34697 is specific for calc and it's object
clarifies that for writer the print current page functionality is done. In fact
it was like that: commit be6629ac7481dd68cb2f2b52927f1dcd975d6ac9 introduced
this behavior since august 2011 and people are used to using this feature as it
is, now, after 15 years, this behavior is silently changed and Honestly, for
those who work, having to remember to delete the "1-" every print is a waste of
time and a huge waste of paper. The 1-N introduced option, is a duplicate of
the above all pages radio button. What is the use of it? For long time users
know that if a print range is needed, it must be typed (writer can't know which
pages I want to print), so the actual page is a good basis. IMHO, bug 34697 is
calc related and it should follow its own cycle, without adding further checks
that would merely duplicate what is already in place.
