It's not a complete solution since it lacks: * Missing glyphs such as U+1234 are not detected as missing * Missing variants such as 'Italic Light' are not detected * Language on the font is not taken into account The last is the most crucial issue. Fonts are detected based on the default and Arabic strings at an English UI will not properly report as the arab variants of the font. The font data is retrieved at SfxDispatchController_Impl::StateChanged() pState->QueryValue( aState...) and SvxFontItem::QueryValue() fills the data; but include/editeng/fontitem.hxx has no information about the language.
