--- Comment #11 from [email protected] --- For consistency with the decision in bug 171969, I wonder whether this issue should also be resolved as NOTABUG, since the current DATEDIF behaviour is being intentionally preserved for compatibility. I have opened enhancement bug 173740 proposing an optional calculation mode that would keep the existing behaviour unchanged by default while allowing users to explicitly request corrected date-difference semantics.
