            Bug ID: 173827
Summary: Selecting cells and AutoFiltering when a Range exists
                    creates a badly-behaved autofilter.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: Inherited From OOo
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
When data is imported from a database, a range is automatically defined without
user's knowledge. If extra columns are added, Autofilter will not include the
extra columns when autofilter is applied. The natural user correction is to
just select all the data and reapply Autofilter to force it to cover all
columns, including new ones. This will still not make Autofilter work as
expected.

The only way to get well-behaved autofiltering is to remove the defined ranges
for the current sheet and reapply.

Maybe selecting multiple cells and applying autofilter should remove any
conflicting autofilters and get a non-database-range autofilter.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new Calc sheet. Fill it like so:
letters numbers
a 1
b 2
c 3

2. Define range "letters" as $Sheet1.$A$1:$A$4.

3. Select A1:B4 and apply Autofilter.

Autofilter from now on does not behave.

4. Filter by letter=b. So far, so good.

5. Without clearing, filter by number=3.

Actual Results:
Number 3 is selectable (wrong) and if so, the letter=b filter gets removed,
showing the row with number=3. The autofilter behaves as if we had two
autofilters, one overriding the other.

Expected Results:
In a good-behaving autofilter, number 3 can't be selected, only number 2.
Numbers 1 and 3 are shown but disabled. From a clean sheet without ranges,
multiple column filtering in the same autofilter would join the selections with
an AND.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No
