--- Comment #2 from [email protected] --- Tested a path closer to --convert-to: - A Basic macro loads testdoc.xls hidden (loadComponentFromURL with Hidden=true) and stores it with FilterName "Text - txt - csv (StarCalc)" and no filter options, which is roughly what --convert-to csv does without options. Result: 8301772.29756076 on both lines. - In my testdoc.xls the number is a NUMBER record holding the double 0x415FAB33130B3C49 (exact value 8301772.29756075982...). A program writing this value to .xls has to store these 8 bytes (an RK record cannot hold it without losing precision), so the program that made the .xls should not matter. Rounding this double to 15 or 16 significant digits gives ...076. So I still cannot reproduce with 26.8.1.1. I did not run soffice --convert-to itself from a command line. The reporter's versions (6.0.7.3, 7.3.7.2) are old, and comment 1 could not reproduce with 25.8 on Linux. Could the reporter retest with a current version?
