Removal of show/hide customization toggles at 26.8 release applies to the entire Notebookbar UI, all Glade .ui based assemblages: Tabbed, Single Toolbar, Tabbed Compact, Groupedbar, Groupedbar Compact, Contextual Single, Contextual Groups. Note: excludes Standard and Sidebar UI modes which use full function toolbar, menu, sidebar element customization. Each NB assemblage is now static. See comment 12 for one UX-advise suggested approach to managing the UI assemblages within the standard TB framework. While the prior to 26.8 .ui based customizations were being stripped out, comment 14 (and relation chain in https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/208674 ) of subsequent comments. The enhancement becomes some means to restore user customization to the NB assemblages.
