Bug ID: 174321
Summary: Select File/Print and tab across the dialog, Orca
screenreader can't read the displayed value of Paper
size. It reads other values in the dialog.
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
On Debian testing it has Writer Version: 26.8.1.1 (X86_64). If I select File
Print and tab across, Orca can't read the value of Paper size. I can press
alt-
can press alt-downArrow then arrow down. Now if I use Orca mouse emulation to
select something like #10 Envelope, it works, but the only way to know is to
press alt-downArrow again. It seems to me Writer shouldn't force you to click
the mouse, you should be able to press enter and select what is in the drop
down ideally. The Orientation box does speak that Automatic is the current
value, but it also seems to force one to use the mouse.
* The Orca author said she doesn't see the value for paper size in the
accessibility tree.
Thanks.
