Philippe Cloutier <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Summary|Ctrl+Shift+; shortcut to |Default keyboard shortcut |insert current time stopped |to insert current time |working |(Ctrl+Shift+;) has no | |effect or inserts single | |character CC| |[email protected] OS|Linux (All) |All --- Comment #37 from Philippe Cloutier <[email protected]> --- Alexander Van den Panhuysen points out that Tip of the Day 42/224 (as of 26.8) advertises this shortcut. As this bug proved rather unkillable, I recommend disabling that tip for the time being. Colin (in bug #149331 and comment 21) reports this on Windows 10, and I reproduce under some conditions on Windows 11. Moreover, Alexander Van den Panhuysen and Alex Thurgood both report this on macOS from 2023 in ticket #154136, and they are apparently not alone. I am therefore marking this as affecting multiple/all OSes. Note that one option would be to rely on platform features. Microsoft PowerToys’s command palette allows (via “)”) copying the current time to the clipboard, and offers a lot more formats than LibreOffice. The cross-platform CopyQ clipboard manager allows creating such commands, and its commands repository offers one which includes the time: https://github.com/hluk/copyq-commands/blob/master/commands/paste-current-date-time.ini -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
