Thanks for the confirmation. I also use Xfce4 on most everything and didn't
even think to mention it. :( Perhaps there is an Xfce problem or with some
parameter?

Just tried it on LibO-4.1.1.2 on the Win7 work computer and find no redraw
problem. Traveling at the moment. Will boot my pendrive Wheezy and give it a
try in 4.1.1.2. 

Thanks for the workaround tip. I'll try that out as well on 4.1.1.2.
