          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 69018
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: EDITING: Select an empty textbox
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
        Whiteboard: BSA
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.0.2.2 release
         Component: Presentation
           Product: LibreOffice

This may be a misunderstanding but how do you select an empty textbox or a text
box with blank characters in it?

To explain more carefully - say I have a text box in a slide and enter some
text into it - to select it I have to actually click on the text inside the box
to select the box (either on a character or between characters), clicking
anywhere else is ignored. If the box is empty or only contains a non visible
character (spaces or CRs) it appears to be impossible to select the box any
more. It is hugely annoying - for all I know the box may be being deleted as
soon as it is non-visible but this seems as bonkers as not being able to select
the box.

Operating System: Ubuntu
