Priority: medium
Bug ID: 69760
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: CONFIGURATION: Can't find New 'Access Recent
Documents' toolbar button cited in fdo#42418 (Jan
Holesovsky)
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.1.1.2 release
Component: Writer
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description:
On 'http://www.libreoffice.org/download/4-1-new-features-and-fixes/' there is a
statement about a new feature that has been added:
"Access Recent Documents directly from the toolbar using a dropdown next to the
"Open" button fdo#42418 (Jan Holesovsky)."
I can't find this new button in Visible Buttons for toolbars or in 'Add Command
to toolbar' procedure as described below
Steps to reproduce:
1. Install version 4.1.1.2
2. Go to Standard Toolbar -> right click -> Visible Buttons OR
Customize -> Toolbars
3. Look for NEW Recent Documents button in toolbars (NOT the OLD Recent
Documents button at Customize -> Toolbar -> Add -> Category: Application ->
Commands: Recent Documents--THIS OLD BUTTON SHOWS NO ICON AND, WHEN PLACED ON A
TOOLBAR, HAS NEVER WORKED TO DISPLAY RECENT DOCUMENTS ON ANY VERSION OF Libre
or OO I have ever used)
4. New Recent Documents button cited in fdo#42418 above, with icon and
dropdown, is nowhere to be found?
Current behavior: Can't find the new Recent Documents button with dropdown in
Writer
Expected behavior: New Recent Documents button cited in fdo#42418 should be
possible to locate in Visible Buttons or Customize toolbars
Operating System: Windows 8
Version: 4.1.1.2 release
