Yes, thank you. Of course it was "hiding in plain sight!" My mistake.

There were two issues that contributed to my confusion:

 1. I'm using a different icon set (Galaxy) from the one in the
    thumbnail, so I didn't recognize the Open icon in the thumbnail.
 2. The description could be clarified. Currently it reads:

        Access Recent Documents directly from the toolbar using *a*
        *dropdown next to the "Open" button *fdo#42418
        <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42418> (Jan
        Holesovsky)

    It would be clearer if it said:

        Access Recent Documents directly from the toolbar by clicking
        *the dropdown arrow _/on/_ the "Open" button ***fdo#42418
        <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42418> (Jan
        Holesovsky).

    Either way, these were my mistakes. Thanks for clarifying.
