Priority: medium
Bug ID: 70147
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: User Dictionaries in the non-default path are not
added to the "Add to Dictionary" context menu
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.1.2.3 rc
Component: UI
Product: LibreOffice
The fix/enhancement for bug 36558 exposed a bug in the UI for adding a word to
a dictionary.
Steps:
1. add a custom path in the user settings > Path > Dictionaries
2. restart LibO to add said path with existing dictionaries
3. have a misspelled word
4. right click on word and look at "Add to Dictionary"
Results:
1. only those dictionaries in {user app data}/4/wordbook show up
Expected Results
1. all user defined dictionaries from all paths should be shown
If you only have one directory (instead of the user data default one), it does
work as expected. So the problem is only when there are multiple paths being
used. You can only add words to dictionaries in the default directory.
I haven't tested the behavior an anything other than W7 64-bit.
