Problem description: I started a new document and immediately changed the
footnote number to be a continuation of my last document. (I am using the Word
2007 format). When I Saved the document and then recalled it, the changes had
not gone into effect, and the document started with footnote #1 again. I tried
this a few times. Incidentally, when I made the same change using OpenOffice,
the change took, even when I later opened the same in LO.
Steps to reproduce:
1. ....Open new document.
2. .... Change default footnote number.
3. .... Save document and close it.
Reopen document.
The footnote number has been reset to 1.
