Older versions of the spec just suggest using the soft hyphen glyph, which is what we are doing now but it is does not work with our strict layout engine. Later versions of the spec suggest using ActualText which I’m trying to do now, but not sure if it it actually working. Those two validators (http://www.pdf-tools.com/pdf/validate-pdfa-online.aspx and http://www.validatepdfa.com/online.htm) seem to be happy even with just a regular ASCII hyphenminus, so I doubt they are actually checking the ActualText tags or even caring about the hyphen at all. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
