          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 74303
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: After delete cells + paste special of tab-delimited
date no recalculation of cells referencing pasted
                    cells until reload of file
          Severity: major
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Windows (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: x86 (IA32)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.2.0.4 release
         Component: Spreadsheet
           Product: LibreOffice

I have a simple sheet that takes a pasted-in tab-delimited table and references
cells from it in formulas in other cells.

In 4.1.4 and earlier I would select the cells that had been pasted-in, delete
them, then do a Paste Special to insert updated data from a tab-delimited text
file. The cells referencing the pasted-in cells would update with no problem.

In 4.2 when I paste in the updated data the cells with formulas referencing
pasted-in cells do not update and instead remain as if the cells they are
referencing were blank.

If I then edit a non-recalculated cell with F2 and commit it with no changes it
does nothing. If I edit the cell and make and revoke a change (such as adding a
space at the end then backspacing over it) and commit the change it does
recalculate. If I use the Function Wizard on a non-recalculated cell the
preview result is correct and if I click OK the cell recalculates but if I
cancel the wizard it does not. If I hit F9 the recalculation progress bar
indicates it is doing something, but the cells do not recalculate. If I hit it
again, it does nothing.

Switching Autocalculate on and off does nothing. Nor does triggering a recalc
through the menu instead of with F9.

Saving and reloading the file does make the cells recalculate.
