I can't send an example, because it doesn't work! Insert table into new writer document Table/Select/Cell then format top border as default, and bottom border as something much thicker. The format wizard appears to show that both are then set the same; quitting back to the table shows that; reselecting the cell and checking properties also shows that nothing took.
