Problem description:
Steps to reproduce:
1. install LibreOffice on Windows 8.1 64-Bit(patch status up to date)
2. open file
"http://ichart.yahoo.com/table.csv?s=%5EGDAXI&a=3&b=3&c=2012&d=1&e=28&f=2014&g=d&ignore=.csv";
from behind a router in a private network.
Current behavior:
LibreOffice freezes (no response message from Windows in title bar at least for
more than half an hour). Entering the same URL in Firefox almost immediately
loads the file with EXCEL, which proves that there are no network or firewall
problems.
Loading very small files from webserver in the private LAN (192.168.n.n) takes
several seconds, orders of magnitude more than loading the file in firefox
Expected behavior:
error-free URLs should be loaded in times comparable to Firefox.
Loading should be supervised by timers.
Erroneous URLs or timeouts should be reported to the user in a meaningful way
