Genuine security issues do; rest assured. However - volunteering other people's
priority and focus is not something you can do. Since the issue is particularly
important to you - can you expand on what you're doing to solve this
(apparently unacceptable to you) situation ? escalation is unlikely to solve
the problem - it has already been assessed by the security team & determined
insufficiently serious.

As/when there is a patch, we can perhaps move here.

User should be confident that we take security issues seriously. However, the
level of shrillness and noise around this issue has (at least for me) radically
reduced my interest in doing any work to tackle it: it is not acceptable to
harass developers. Having said that, very happy to mentor anyone wanting to
contribute constructively here. I hope that re-assures you.
