A (Andy) <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW Severity|normal |enhancement CC| |[email protected] Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from A (Andy) <[email protected]> --- marked as enhancement request I agree that it would be very good to have a simple way to organise and manage the LO color palettes. The color palettes are a LO feature which could from my point of view get different improvements. Currently, you can modify the color palette by going to TOOLS -> OPTIONS -> section LIBREOFFICE -> section COLORS. There you can add, modify and delete colors. These colors are then saved in a .soc file (as far as I know in the standard.soc (?) file). >From your bug report I see, that you are using LO 4.x, but I don't know which system. In Windows 7/8 you can find the color files (.soc) in C:\Users\[Your User Folder]\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice\4\user\config\. It could be that AppData is a hidden directory which you would have to made visible first. Unfortunately, I can see here no feature in the OPTIONS dialog box to load and save color palettes. I think this is not user-friendly and inconsistent, because through another step you can load and save color palettes. First, you have to insert a graphic object (like a rectangle). Then you make a right click on this object and go to AREA -> tab COLORS. There you can find a LOAD and SAVE button (unfortunately, only a graphic button, but no text button). You can now again modify the color palette and then you click the SAVE button and there you can save your modified color palette under a new name (e.g. mycolortest.soc). Through the LOAD button you can now e.g. load the standard.soc color palette or your modified color palette under a new name. I would very much appreciate if a developer or LO specialist (from e.g. the design team) can comment my comment and maybe correct my feedback if necessary. Are there maybe already any plans/improvements underway to improve the color palette? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
