Even after updating to 4.2.2.1 it keeps crashing. @choffardet thanks for the hint. "If you create the new presentation with the Impress icon (after launching LibreOffice) there is no crash ! trying it three times and the coming back to first way to create new presentation three times and then 3 crashes."
