          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 76814
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: export to pdf file name
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.2.1.1 release
         Component: Writer
           Product: LibreOffice

Export to PDF in LO writer (LO4.2.1.1, Fedora 20):

press the PDF icon a dialog box apears
I choose my folder
as the filename is highlighted, I attempt to type in a file name
the file name assumes the nearest match in the relevant folder

Expected behaviour:

I am allowed to overwrite the highlighted filename and enter a name of my
choosing. I can do this by bringing the cursor to the filename window but the
highlighting is misleading.

in the windows version, the filename is not highlighted. You can either choose
an existing filename or skip to the filename window and enter your own choice.
The windows (XP) version of writer provides the functionality I am looking for
- either I select a filename from the list or choose my own.

Pls advise if this is a bug/enhancement or whether I am making an unnecessary
fuss :)

This may be related to 54306. I can't work out whether it is.
