--- Comment #1 from [email protected] --- I should note that what seems to have happened recently is that the size of the "thumbnail.png" has drastically increased in some recent version of LibreOffice. I found year-old spreadsheets with 20K thumbnails inside them. Newly created spreadsheets with the same data in them have at least 65K thumbnails. E.g., I opened a 40K spreadsheet that was about 5 months old. I changed a cell, hit undo, saved. The file size was suddenly 85K. This is traceable 100% to a thumbnail that went from around 20K to 65K. But none of the cells changed! This is absurd. Please return the filesize of the embedded thumbnails to around 20K or less.
